Problem Statement

Most of American and Europian retail store employees spend a lot of time in mundane tasks with in-store device maintaince and optimisation. This cost them crucial hours during store operations which they can invest in customer relations and store optimisations.

Requirement

Create an iOS based application which provides clear visibility and reporting on the health of your devices across the entire mobile ecosystem. Implement a one-click fixing and optimisations for device health checks. The application's automated impression will ensure clients that device issues are quickly and simply resolved, reducing downtime and costs, and increasing efficiency.

Results

  • Successfully launched in MVP at NRF 2025 (most mega retail tech event in USA).

  • The designed app features a clean, clutter-free interface, making it easier for users to navigate and access essential features.

  • The improved store efficiency by more than 30% as reported by KIKO Milano (initial client).

  • Addition of personalization and customisation options enhanced client interest, leading to a more than 10 new client onboarding within 10 days of launch.

Process

Research & Analysis: Conducted more than 20 user and stakeholder interviews, and surveys to understand the pain points and user needs. As this of first in the market, studying competitor apps/ solutions were not necessary. Hence, we gathered industry trends and insights on the store operational flow.

Information Architecture: Based on the research findings, restructured the app's navigation and content, prioritizing features and information according to user needs.

Wireframing & Prototyping: Designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout and navigation, iteratively refining them based on stakeholders and user feedback. Afterward, built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype to test the designs.

Usability Testing: Conducted usability tests with a diverse group of users to validate the design and identify areas for improvement. Based on the feedbacks, we made necessary adjustments to the design.

Visual Design & Style Guide: Developed a cohesive visual language, including color schemes, typography, application icon, and iconography, ensuring consistency throughout the app. Additionally, created a style guide to maintain design consistency in future updates.
